Test and market: Brachiaria apomictic hybrids

CIAT invites proposals to test and market Brachiaria apomictic hybrids being developed in its Tropical Forages program to ensure the widest possible dissemination of these high quality Brachiaria hybrids. These hybrids will be available for testing in 2014. As an internationally-funded institution of agricultural research for the poor, CIAT would like to ensure that the results of its research benefit farmers across Latin America and beyond. The collaboration would entail exclusive rights to market Brachiaria apomictic hybrids provided by CIAT in a defined territory.

All proposals must be received by 1 October 2010. CIAT shall consider each proposal and engage in negotiations to discuss the details of any future collaboration with selected partner(s).
