Toolkit
The Accessibility Analyst is a tool that has been programmed at CIAT in order to automate the process of creating accessibility surfaces. In the past these surfaces had to be laboriously created step by step within ESRI's Arc INFO software.

The Accessibility Analyst can be installed by anyone who has the ESRI ArcView 3 software with ArcView Spatial Analyst.

From this page you can download the extension and documentation, see case studies of the extension at work as well as follow links to find other people working in the same field.

CIAT donors generously provided the funding for the development of this software. In particular we would like to mention:

The following people at CIAT have contributed to the ideas that lead to this software and manual: Andy Farrow, Andy Nelson, Manuel Winograd, Jeremy Eade, Gregoire Leclerc, Ron Knapp.
