infrastructure, including:
Another advantage
of the Park's being at CIAT is the Center's close location
to the Cali international airport and the cities of Cali and
Palmira. It is therefore close to various national agricultural
research institutes and universities, some of which also conduct
research activities at the Park's installations, with the
participation of numerous undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The modern installations; specialized
library, with facilities for electronic bibliographic
searches; 500 hectares of experiment fields; and rich biological
diversity in an exuberant tropical environment enable the
Park to operate in an environment that is propitious for excellent
science.
