The
CIAT in Asia Research for Development Series (CARDS) is a
book series aimed specifically at providing research information
to agricultural development workers in a format that is readily
accessible to them. The first two books in the series are
about developing forage technologies on smallholder farms
in SE Asia. The third is a practical guide on how to get started
in using participatory research approaches with smallholder
farmers. New titles are planned for release in the near future,
covering a diverse range of topics relevant to agricultural
development in the region.
The first three books in the series are currently available
in English, Chinese, Indonesian, Lao, Thai, and Vietnamese,
and will soon be available in Burmese and Khmer. All language
versions of the books are available from the CIAT office in
Vientiane. The English versions can be downloaded as pdf files
from this Web site.
