Training Courses conducted as part of the Nippon Foundation project from 1994 to 2002

To familiarize researchers and extension workers with Farmer Pparticipatory Research (FPR) methodologies, the Project organized several training courses. Training courses were also held for key farmers and local extension workers in the Project’s pilot sites to familiarize them with the FPR approach and teach them basic experimental techniques, ways of setting out contour lines, and planting and maintaining contour hedgerows for erosion control.
