interface is organized into Pressure - State - Impact - Response indicators. Each category
has indicators according to various environmental topics. These topics range from economic
and social development, through atmosphere and climate, to natural disasters.You can
also access statistics and other useful data to follow up developmental and environmental
issues. Atlas CD contains information on more than 200 social, economic, and environmental
indicators.
A glossary, bibliographic references, and technical notes are also included, together
with simulation models of land use. These models can be used to explore the dynamics of
the major land use indicators in the region's ecosystems enabling decision-makers and
planners to research the impact and effect of development policies and strategies for land
use.
